Welcome to Washington Middle School! Every day at WMS is a great day for learning and growing. The middle school years are an important transition time for children who are turning into young adults. Here at Washington, we take pride in working closely with parents, staff and administration to help students learn to develop independence and responsibility and to become advocates for themselves. We strive to help all students reach their full potential, and we work hard to make this the best learning environment for each and every student. We are excited to work with families to help guide children to be successful during a very trying yet very fun time in their lives.
We offer students in 6th, 7th and 8th grade 1-to-1 technology, as we understand that we are growing lifelong 21st century learners. The wide variety of extracurricular activities gives students the opportunity to explore new pathways for their talents and learn to be a positive member of a team. Please encourage your child to get involved!
We are very proud of our staff and students here at Washington Middle School. We feel very fortunate to work in a school district that truly makes decisions based upon what is best for the students.
