Mission Statement
FALS is a welcoming, non-judgmental environment for students to earn their high school diploma in the way that is unique to them, so they are prepared for work, college, technical school, or the military.

Vision Statement
FALS provides every student with an individualized learning plan that will allow them to be successful and productive in post-secondary settings. Students will have the social, emotional, and academic skills to lead successful lives in whatever vocation they choose.

What is Alternative Education?
Alternative education is a program of study for students that provides specialized instruction outside of the traditional educational setting. Alternative education allows schools to provide the flexibility many students need in order to overcome barriers to graduation. This can be accomplished in a multitude of ways, based on the individual student’s needs. Most students in the FALS Alternative Program are working through credit deficiency to catch up to their graduating class
