The Oconto Falls School District is proud to recognize our 2017 Alternative Learning Site (FALS) graduates. This unique charter school specializes in customized education delivery methods, which enables our district to meet the needs of high school students who have the ability to excel in a non-traditional classroom environment. Through a blend of online curriculum, character building and employment experience the dedicated faculty and staff are able to help these young adults enter post graduation with confidence and a promising future. With a hard-earned high school diploma that meets the same transcript requirements as our traditional high school, these students are positioned to emerge as productive members of our community.
Parents please contact FALS by 10:00 AM when your child is absent.

“Education is a Wonderful Thing when you Experience Success.”
The Oconto Falls Alternative Learning Site is dedicated to working with students, families, the school district and the community to ensure that all students have the opportunity to earn a high school diploma. Earning a high school diploma is one of the first steps toward developing a person’s potential to lead a productive, satisfying life. To accomplish this, students will engage in challenging and purposeful learning that blends their experiences with knowledge and real world application in preparation for adult roles.

The students have a great deal of liberty at the FALS, but are also held accountable for using these liberties responsibly.
The Oconto Falls Alternative Learning Site opened its doors on December 14, 1998. The FALS is located in the old Cook Library in the city of Oconto Falls. The interior was renovated by former students and is now a large open classroom. The FALS is fully equipped with the latest technology allowing student every accommodation to achieve their high school diploma. The typical FALS student is credit deficient yet still desires to achieve a diploma. Students work on a self-paced curriculum specifically designed to meet their individual learning style. The long list of FALS graduates demonstrates a need for this service in the quest for academic success.
