The after school study hours will be in the LMC until 6:00pm.

7th hour Civic Leadership class is having a drive for soldiers across seas. Operation Care Package is looking for necessities for living such as food, games, and hygiene items. There are going to be prizes awarded to the 7th hour class that can collect the most points. First place will receive a pizza party. Second place will receive an ice cream party and third place will receive candy bars. Check posters to see what items you can bring. The Civic Leadership class will be going around collecting items during 7th hour. You have till November 12 to bring your items.

Students this is to inform you that next Wednesday, during the Learning Lab period you will be taking the bi-annual BrightBytes survey.  The survey takes approximately 30 minutes to complete so please plan accordingly and bring your device to Learning Lab next Wednesday, Nov. 7.

Attention FFA Members: Fruit Sale order forms are now available. Pick them up by the FFA billboard in the 200 Hallway.

The Care Partners Country Terrace Assisted Living in Oconto is looking to fill one to two positions. The hours needing coverage are seven days a week for four hours each day in the afternoon. Ideally, this could be two positions. Please stop and check out the flyer by student services or the main office.

Drama Club: There will be a meeting today during lunch in Room 120. Please bring your lunch.

Music dept. students: If you had your picture taken by Mortell Studio at the annual Halloween party Oct. 22, stop at Mortell Studio, 208 E. Central Ave., Oconto Falls 9 a.m. 5 p.m. to pick up your free pictures.

The Drama Team will be performing its one-act play “On the Edge” Tuesday, Nov. 6, at 7:00 pm, in the PAC.  Prior to the show will be the Drama Club’s annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser with serving from 5 – 6:45 pm in the commons.  Tickets will be sold at the door for the cost of $8 for dinner and show or $5 for show only.  Come on out and support this amazing group as they set their sights on returning to State!

Student council members- tonight is trick or treat for the hungry. meet in room 200 at 3:45. wear your costumes!

There will be an FBLA meeting Wednesday during lunch in Room 412 for those that are attending NFLC this Friday and Saturday. Please bring your lunch.

Oconto County 4-H, a program offered through UW-Extension, will be holding an open house event called 4-H Fall Kick-Off. The event will be held on Saturday, November 10th at St. Anne’s School, 221 E Main St, Lena from 3-5pm. Come and browse the numerous project areas from chickens to bees, knitting to woodworking. Project leaders will be on hand to talk about the projects and 4-H members will be available to answer your questions about 4-H. This event is free and open to the public.

Attention All Volleyball Players and Managers: Volleyball Banquet will be Thursday-November 8th at Romy’s.  Pick up a form from either the office or Coach Bronstad. Return Banquet form with payment to the High School Office by Friday-November 2nd.

Students:  A babysitter is wanted for an occasional Friday or Saturday night.  Couple has a 1 and 3 year old.  Would like you to have own transportation and certified in CPR.  Please stop in Student Services for more information.


Students:  Whispering Pines is looking for students 15 years and older to help with harvesting Christmas trees and boughs.  Please see the Student Services bulletin board for information.

Juniors & Seniors:  A representative from UW Eau Claire will be in Student Services on Tuesday, November 6, 1st hour.  Please sign up if interested.


Juniors & Seniors:  FIRE is sponsoring a Free Speech Essay Contest.  You must submit a 800-1000 word essay on why free speech is so important to higher education.


Seniors:  If you need help completing the FAFSA, College Goal Wisconsin can help.  They will be holding numerous sessions throughout this month and November which is free of charge.  Please stop in Student Services for dates and information needed to bring.


Seniors:  Please remember to hand in your yellow Permission to Release Form in order to have your transcripts sent out.


Seniors:  The deadline to register for the December 8th ACT is Friday, November 2.  Please stop in Student Services with any questions.
