Congratulations to the OFHS Dance Team that competed in Appleton on Saturday! The group did amazing in individual competition! Way to Go!

 

Community Service and Mentoring Students please start working towards getting a letter of recommendation from your placement. In addition, your 2 page papers are due January 11th as well. Please see the Google Classroom or Mr. Bohl if you have any questions!

 

The 6th Annual N.E.W. Vex Robotics Challenge will be happening on Saturday, January 12th from 9 am to 5pm.  The excitement will be happening in the Oconto Falls High School Field House with 36 teams from around Wisconsin playing this years game Turning Point.  Admission is free and open to the public.  Concessions will be available.

 

The Drama Club’s movie night scheduled for after school today has been postponed until next Monday, January 14.

 

The next blood drive of the year will be held on Thursday, January 24 from 8:30 – 1:30pm. Please sign up in the main office. If you are 16 years of age, you will need parental permission – that form is in the office, as well.

 

Students:  A representative from the Army National Guard will be in the commons on Wednesday, January 9 during lunch hours.

 

Seniors:  Please make sure you take a look at the Student Services bulletin board for more scholarship opportunities.

 

Seniors:  Aurora Health Foundation Scholarship is now available in Student Services.  If you plan to pursue a degree in the healthcare related field, please stop in for an application.  Due date is February 28, 2019.

 

Seniors:  College of Menominee Nation will be hosting Student Orientation days on January 9 and January 16.  Please see Student Services bulletin board for times.

 

Seniors:  The FFA Leadership Conference Scholarship is in Student Services.  Due date is January 25.

 

Seniors:  A representative from NWTC will be in Student Services on Thursday, January 10 to help with the admission application process.  Please stop in Student Services to sign up for a time or if you have any questions.

 

Seniors:  The Kids’ Chance of Wisconsin is offering scholarships to students of Wisconsin workers who have been seriously injured or killed due to work-related accidents.  Please stop in Student Services.

 

Seniors:  Scholarship #13-N.E.W. Credit Union Scholarship is now available in Student Services.

 

Seniors:  Challenge the Outdoors Scholarship is available to a student with physical challenges pursuing a post-secondary education.  Stop in Student Services.

 

Seniors:  Scholarships #15-Cargil, #69-Walmart Dependent, #60-Title 1, #104-United Cooperative, #55-Shopko Teammate and #53 Sharp Trust are in Student Services.
