The first Blood Drive of the year will be Wednesday, September 26. Students must be at least 16 years of age. All students must provide a picture id. Please sign up in the main office.

 

Students: A reminder that you must sign up for North and South Late Transit prior to noon each day.

 

Juniors & Seniors:  A representative from Ripon College will be in Student Services on Tuesday, September 25 during 4th hour.  Please sign up if interested.

Information on local scholarships and the FAFSA will be presented. A representative from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College will be the featured presenter. If you have any questions please stop in Student Services. If you can’t attend the Oconto Falls presentation, please see the Student Services bulletin board for other locations.

Reminder to juniors who would like to sign up for the PSAT test: the test will be administered Wednesday, 10/10, hours 1-4 in the LMC. Bring $16 in cash or a check for $16 made out to OFHS, a calculator and two sharpened #2 pencils. Be sure to review the practice test that will be handed out when you sign up in Student Services.

If you have not completed your membership for and submitted payment, please take care of this as soon as possible. Also, there are a few seats open for dairy expo and SLW trips next week. Please see Mr. Taylor asap.

Drama Club Members: Sign up in Room 120 if you will be attending movie night on Tuesday, Oct 2.

A reminder to all students: If you are absent from school, you must bring a note from home. Avoid truancy and bring in notes in a timely manner.

 

FFA Members going to World Dairy Expo tomorrow, we are changing our departure time to 4:00am. Please be at the Ag Room by 3:55am tomorrow morning.

 

FFS members going to Sectional Leadership Workshop on Wednesday in Antigo, please turn your forms into Mr. Taylor ASAP.

 

FFA will be completing the annual fall Adopt-A-Highway this Saturday starting at 8:00am going for breakfast afterwards. Meet at the Old Hardees by United Coop grain bins.

All underclassmen are reminded to get their yearbook order forms into Mr. Gander in room 120 by this Friday, Oct. 20, for the chance at winning $50.  Don’t miss out on this opportunity.

 

All boys interested in play basketball, there will be a mandatory meeting on Wednesday, October 25thduring lunch in the Field House.  Bring your lunch and a pen.

 

Any student interested in joining Destination Imagination (DI) there will be a meeting at lunch today in Room 200.   Please bring your lunch.

Attention FFA members: On Monday, October 30, after school, we will be painting and carving pumpkins, please sign up outside Mr. Taylor’s door. By Wednesday, any FFA members wanting to attend the 212 and 360 national FFA conference in Green Bay need to turn in their permission forms and money to Mr. Taylor by the end of the day.

Students:  Mills Fleet Farm is currently hiring full time, part time and seasonal positions.  Please see information on Student Services bulletin board or stop in for flyer.

Students:  NWTC is inviting you to their Transportation Center Open House on Monday, October 23, 4:00 PM-7:00 PM.  You can tour the new center and learn about careers in the transportation industry and talk to the instructors.  Look for the poster by Student Services.

 

A quick reminder that Art Club pizzas will be delivered Friday at 3pm.

 

Seniors: The Hagan Scholarship Foundation scholarship information is available

in Student Services.  Student must have a 3.5 GPA, scored a 23 or higher on the ACT.  Two-thirds of all finalists are awarded scholarships.  Stop in Student Services.
